I would like to download some of the DESI EDR science data including spectra but have not been able to find the proper process to do this.  I have been reading sections of the DESI github repository but have not been able to find any information summarizing the process.  Could someone please let me know where this is available?  Thank you.

Please see https://data.desi.lbl.gov/doc/access/ for a variety of options for accessing the EDR data. The short version is that https://data.desi.lbl.gov/public/edr/ let's you browse and download individual files, and "DESI Public Data" Globus can be used for bulk downloads. There are also some options listed on the access page for interactive / on-demand access to the data.  https://data.desi.lbl.gov/doc/organization/ has an overview of how the files are organized on disk.

If those pages do not address your questions, please let us know and we'll work to both address your specific need and improve the documentation for future users.
